1986 Coleman Chesapeake. The outside is in very good condition. The roof does not leak nor does any part on the outside. There is a crease (shown in the first picture) where a previous owner backed into something. There is no leakage around it. All of the outside panels are in great condition and free of rust. All lights are operational with two new rear lens covers. Spare Tire is brand new with cover. The tires that are on are in very good shape, plenty of miles left. There are a few dings in the roof (looks like it had been parked under a walnut tree) no leaking. The front has nicks from rocks on the road not noticeable. 20 lb. propane tank (new specs) with Coleman cover. The pressure valve has been replaced on the propane tank. Also, the cables that raise the top have also been replaced. The inside is in outstanding condition. It has two full size beds and a dinette that goes into a bed. It will sleep 6. It has three-eye propane stove and a porcelain sink. The sink will work either connected to outside water source or 5 gallon container (pump type faucet) with an extra 5-gallon tank for extended storage. The galley cabinet is made of metal with lots of storage underneath and the cabinet under the galley is wood with plenty of storage. There is also a long storage cabinet directly across from the galley. Under the dinette is the AC/DC converter panel. This camper will operate on 120v ac or 12v dc (deep cell battery). You can also run the 2 outlets off of a deep cell battery with inverter (about $35) off of the power cord. Will also run off of a generator. There are two lights inside that will work on ac or dc. All if the inner windows have zippered plastic liners and screens, bunks have zippered breathable liners. There are NO holes in the canvas top, screens or liners. There are NO leaks in the roof or any part of the pop up. Both mattresses and all dinette cushions are in excellent condition with no rips, tears, stains or show of damage. These are made of like a weaved twill type fabric (hard to explain). There are pictures of the inside set up and also shown ready for storage. There is a hanging mirror/ledge/paper towel hung right above the sink. There are extra storage areas under the booths. One side contains the electric cord to plug the pop up into an ac outlet. The other side has an awning for the outside. All original manuals come with the pop up. The flooring is in great shape. No rips, tears or cuts in the linoleum. No leaks or signs of leakage in the floor. All of the wood at the floor line is excellent. No sign of bulging from damage, no falling apart from abuse. No chipping around any of the corners from getting kicked. The door is made of fiberglass/ aluminum with a screen slide window. It is one piece not like the aggravating two-piece ones that never work. It is sealed with the canvas by a rubber insert the length of the door, NOT VELCRO. Now for the outside set up. As you can see the canvas is in " new condition". There are NO holes, No rips, NO tears, and NO duct tape covering pinholes. This canvas is good. A previous owner has replaced it in the last 2 years. The outside door folds down to a lighted step. All canvas meets the shell of the camper well. There are a few spots on the canvas with "camping stains" on them. Not grease or anything like that, just places where it has been touched with dirty hands (from fireplace ash). Underneath the trailer is very good condition. It has 4 stabilizer jacks in good condition (crank down with crowbar type). All four lock down latches are in good shape. Previous owner cut the battery connection wires so this would need to be fixed for battery connection. I used an inverter connected to battery all the time anyway, so that I could use the outlets for television, computer, fan..etc. I used a generator to charge the batteries. Never did have a use for the wires, so I never fixed it. Shouldn't be over $10 to fix. The propane gas system is fully operational and works great. As stated earlier, it does come with an awning. No room to set it up for the pictures, sorry. The awning was purchased 5/27/03 from Colerain RV for $350.00. It has a screen room that attached to the bag awning. The awning and poles can be stored in the bag that stays on the outside of the camper.
There is no air conditioner/heater/hot water heater. I had no need for these. I used a fan when it was warm (who camps inside during the day anyway, and took showers at the campsite facilities or heated water dumped into the sink and washed off. You can add these things, but it will have to be at your expense. A 1.8cu ft refrigerator has been added on 5/31/03, which simply plugs into the outlet in the camper.
